Triangle Workshop Series - Saturdays from 9 am - Noon: Sept 26, Oct 10, Oct 24, Nov 7

Join us in making the Hello Winter quilt in throw size by Sarah Made to perfect those points! During this class, we will focus on half square triangles, half rectangle triangles, and flying geese. There will be five classes total, with time between each class for you to continue to your work.  All purchases made from the shop for the class, including fabric, will be 15% off. You will need to bring your machine to classes 2-5.  There are also machines available to rent. 

This class is for an advanced beginner, meaning you have made a quilt or two before. You will need an understanding of a 1/4" seam allowance. If you have never made a quilt, we would recommend starting with our Beginner Quilting Workshop Series.

Class One: Bring your pattern and fabric. The pattern is to be purchased here: Hello Winter Quilt Pattern PDF – Sarah Made. We will talk about tools, planning for your quilt, pressing, and cutting. During the next two weeks, you will work on getting all your fabric cut and ready to go.

Class Two: Half Square Triangles. We will work through techniques and tools to sewing and trimming. 

Class Three: Half Rectangle Triangles. We will work through techniques and tools to sewing and trimming. 

Class Four: Flying Geese: We will work through techniques and tools to sewing and trimming. We will also talk through block construction of the quilt.

You will finish the class with the building blocks to complete your quilt top at home.
