Pride and Progress Flag Class, Sunday, June 7 from 9 am to 2 pm

Join us in the studio to create your own flag! Based on sewing experience, you will make either the Pride flag or the Progress flag (pictured). All fabric and batting are included. The cost of the class is just to cover expenses of materials, and sales tax will be added. There will be fabric options in prints and solids to choose from when you arrive. 

For beginner sewists: No sewing experience is required. You will be making the Pride flag (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple stripes). We will have you use a shop machine and show you the basics of how it works before we get started on the project. We will provide thread in addition to fabric and batting. You will not need to bring anything with you.

For advanced beginners (knowledge of basic quilting terms, experience with seam allowance, comfortable using your sewing machine)+: Bring your own machine and join us to sew the Progress flag! We recommend bringing basic sewing supplies (pins, snips, rotary cutter, ruler). We ask that you bring your own thread.
