Join Rae in the studio to create a Holland Pouch! In this class we will tackle zippers, boxy corners, and binding the raw edges of your bag. Rae will give you all their tips and tricks to have a nice & crisp finished product.
This class is aimed towards advanced beginners. Experience with sewing zippers is not required. You will bring your machine along with you to the class and will need to ensure it is working well. If you are unsure if it will sew through the layers of fabric and foam, we have shop machines available to rent for the class. Please email us at hello@ashandelmquiltery.com for rental information. Bring along your basic sewing foot and zipper foot. If you have a narrow edge or stitch in the ditch foot, bring that along as well.

- A quilted panel and fabric needed for the project
Items to bring (all of these are available for purchase for 15% off the day of class):
- Size 5 zipper at least 20" in length
- 1/2 yard webbing
- polyester thread
- Glue with precision tip
- Holland Pouch pattern
- Basic tools such as snips, rotary cutter, square ruler, heat erasable pen or chalk pencil, seam ripper, etc.
A large cutting mat & large pressing mat available to share and 4 individual tray tables mini wool mats and irons at your stations.
